Inside Media

Behind the camera, behind the screen and behind the effects.
9:30am–2:30pm | Up to 80 students

Inside Media puts students inside a working production house, shooting, editing and building content for the platforms that dominate today's screens. Every workshop gives students a different production role and a different piece of the media puzzle.

Workshops
Students rotate through workshops in small groups.

  • Animation: Students respond to a real client brief, using Procreate and Procreate Dreams to bring characters and stories to life frame by frame. Bring a USB to take your creation home.
  • Green Scenes: Students master the compositing techniques behind Hollywood effects, placing themselves into scenes impossible in real life.
  • Trend Lab: As audio producers, students create, edit and publish a 30-second trending audio clip, learning the hooks, cuts, loops and effects that make a sound catch on.
  • Unreal Creations: Using Unreal Engine, the software behind blockbuster games and films, students learn real-time 3D creation and visual scripting to build an interactive game.
